Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and distribute materials, tools, and equipment on job sites efficiently.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, framers) with daily tasks.
- Operate heavy machinery or hand tools (saws, drills) under strict supervision.
- Ensure all work areas remain clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and site protocols at all times.
- Perform basic site preparation, including digging, trenching, and leveling.
- Transport materials to and from storage areas safely.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not required for entry-level roles.
- Physically fit and able to lift 50+ lbs regularly for extended periods.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety practices is a plus.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekend shifts.
