Responsibilities
- Execute manual labor tasks on construction sites, including digging, lifting, and carrying materials.
- Assist skilled tradesmen (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with daily operations and project needs.
- Load and unload building materials, tools, and equipment from trucks and storage areas.
- Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools (experience preferred).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to OSHA safety standards.
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, marking areas, and setting up scaffolding.
- Follow project blueprints and instructions to ensure accuracy and quality.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Reliable Transportation: Must have a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle to commute to job sites.
- Work Ethic: Proven ability to work well in a team and complete tasks efficiently under time constraints.
- Safety Conscious: Familiarity with basic safety protocols and a commitment to a hazard-free workplace.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and fellow crew members.
- Experience: Prior construction labor or general labor experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time, day-shift work.
