Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and stack building materials, tools, and equipment at job sites.
- Perform basic carpentry, painting, and cleaning duties to maintain site standards.
- Operate heavy machinery and hand tools under the supervision of skilled tradesmen.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.
- Assist with site preparation, excavation, and concrete pouring as needed.
- Transport materials between storage areas and work zones efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with team members and project managers to ensure project goals are met.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (50+ lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for measuring materials and cutting lumber.
- Valid driver's license is preferred but not always required.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adhere to strict safety standards.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
