Responsibilities
- Load and unload building materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various tasks, including carpentry, masonry, and electrical work.
- Follow all safety regulations and site protocols to ensure a hazard-free environment.
- Clean and prepare construction sites, including removing debris and excess materials.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, plans, and drawings.
- Perform physical labor, including digging, lifting, and carrying heavy objects.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety standards is a plus.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team.
- Must be available for overtime and weekend shifts when needed.
