Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with material handling and site preparation
- Operate basic hand tools and power equipment under supervision
- Maintain clean and organized job sites following OSHA standards
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) and physically demanding tasks
- Support concrete pouring, demolition, and site cleanup operations
- Follow verbal instructions and maintain communication with team leads
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required
- Must pass pre-employment physical assessment
- Valid government-issued photo ID required
- Ability to work in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain)
- Basic understanding of verbal English instructions
- Reliable transportation to job sites in Charlotte area
