Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
- Assist skilled tradespeople, including carpenters, electricians, and plumbers, with various tasks.
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling ground.
- Erect and dismantle temporary structures, scaffolding, and forms.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety regulations.
- Perform basic measurements and assist with site surveys.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety protocols (OSHA preferred).
- Willingness to work long hours and flexible shifts.
- Valid driver's license (a plus but not required).
- Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills.
- Reliable transportation to the job site.
