Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with daily site tasks and operations.
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up barriers.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks.
- Measure, cut, and prepare materials according to blueprints and project specifications.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Operate basic construction machinery and power tools under supervision.
- Perform physical labor including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Qualifications
- Willingness to learn and work hard with a positive attitude.
- Ability to perform physical labor in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read a tape measure.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Valid Driver's License is preferred but not required.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
