Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in site preparation, including clearing, digging, and leveling areas for construction.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from the job site.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction machinery and hand tools under supervision (e.g., forklifts, skid steers, jackhammers).
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area by removing debris and following safety protocols.
- Assistance: Support skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, masons) with various tasks as directed.
- Measurement: Assist in measuring and marking areas for cutting and assembly.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including standing, walking, lifting, and bending.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Willingness to Learn: No prior experience required; a strong desire to learn and a positive attitude are essential.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Safety Conscious: Must adhere to all safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
