Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site safely and efficiently.
- Site Support: Assist skilled tradesmen (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with daily tasks and project needs.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic construction tools and equipment under supervision (training provided).
- Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized work site, ensuring debris is cleared and safety hazards are minimized.
- Assisting: Perform general labor duties such as digging, tamping, and setting up temporary barriers.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with site foremen and team members to ensure project milestones are met.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Reliability: Must have a reliable means of transportation and be willing to work a full-time schedule.
- Background: Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Attitude: Eager to learn, punctual, and willing to get hands-on with physical labor.
- Communication: Basic English proficiency required for safety instructions and teamwork.
