Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various on-site construction tasks and duties.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials using hand trucks, forklifts, and other equipment.
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling the ground.
- Operate power tools and heavy machinery (e.g., jackhammers, saws) in a safe and efficient manner.
- Ensure all work areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety regulations.
- Follow verbal and written instructions from foremen and project managers.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in construction or general labor is a plus but not required.
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects and standing on concrete.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Strong commitment to safety protocols and team collaboration.
