Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and prepare construction materials, tools, and equipment for the job site.
- Assist skilled tradespeople, such as carpenters, electricians, and plumbers, with various tasks.
- Operate heavy machinery and construction equipment, including forklifts and skid steers, under supervision.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area by removing debris and organizing materials.
- Follow all safety protocols, OSHA guidelines, and company policies at all times.
- Perform physical labor including digging, lifting, and carrying materials up to 50+ lbs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous construction experience is a plus, but on-the-job training is provided.
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual labor in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety practices (OSHA 10/30 preferred).
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the job site.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
