Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling ground.
- Material Handling: Load and unload building materials, tools, and equipment from trucks and store them safely.
- Trade Assistance: Help skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, painters) with daily tasks and setups.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction tools and equipment under strict supervision and safety guidelines.
- Site Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe by adhering to OSHA standards.
- Measurement & Layout: Perform basic measurements and assist in layout work as directed by supervisors.
- Support: Perform general labor tasks such as hauling, mixing concrete, and carrying supplies.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for long hours and in various weather conditions.
- Strength: Must be able to lift heavy objects (50+ lbs) repeatedly.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic and punctuality are essential.
- Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to the job site.
- Age: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Attitude: Willingness to learn new skills and follow safety protocols strictly.
- Communication: Ability to follow instructions from foremen and team leads.
