Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Assist skilled tradesmen (carpenters, electricians, masons) with daily tasks and project execution.
- Perform site cleanup, including debris removal, trash hauling, and maintaining a safe work environment.
- Operate basic construction equipment and tools, adhering to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Read and understand blueprints, drawings, and safety specifications when required.
- Perform basic measurements and cutting tasks to ensure project specifications are met.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately to the site supervisor.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including standing, walking, and climbing.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic and a team-oriented attitude.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) repeatedly.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety standards is a plus but not required.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
