Responsibilities
- Assist in site preparation, including excavation, grading, and clearing debris.
- Operate power tools and heavy machinery under supervision (e.g., forklifts, jackhammers).
- Transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from the job site.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Assist carpenters, electricians, and other tradespeople with various tasks as needed.
- Perform daily cleanup of the work area to ensure a tidy and organized site.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous construction experience is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated candidates.
- Valid California Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety practices is highly desirable.
- Must be physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions.
