Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality electrical installations, maintenance, and repair in residential and commercial settings.
- Interpret and utilize blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan layouts and wiring systems.
- Ensure all work strictly adheres to local and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations.
- Troubleshoot complex electrical systems to identify faults and implement effective solutions.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical equipment to ensure longevity and safety.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Maintain a clean and organized work site at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license in the state of Texas.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in commercial and industrial electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical theory and the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Ability to read, understand, and work from complex wiring diagrams and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Physical stamina to perform job duties including lifting, climbing, and working in various weather conditions.
