Responsibilities
- Perform complex residential and commercial electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance during weekend shifts.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults efficiently and accurately.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining technical issues in plain language and managing expectations.
- Document all work performed, including time logs and material usage, accurately.
- Collaborate with the lead electrician and team members to complete projects on time.
Qualifications
- License: Valid Journeyman Electrician License in the State of Texas required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in residential and commercial electrical work.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a recurring basis.
- Skills: Proficient in reading blueprints, using electrical testing equipment, and wiring techniques.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Physical: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in various weather conditions, and stand for extended periods.
