Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with various on-site tasks.
- Load, unload, and organize construction materials and tools on the job site.
- Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools safely and correctly.
- Ensure the job site remains clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations, company policies, and project instructions.
- Measure, cut, and prepare materials as directed by the site supervisor.
- Dig trenches, level grounds, and perform general site preparation.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy loads (50+ pounds) repeatedly.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic reading and comprehension skills to follow safety and instruction manuals.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and work on feet for long shifts.
