Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to understand project requirements.
- Perform basic wiring tasks, including pulling wire, stripping insulation, and terminating connections.
- Inspect electrical components and systems to ensure they comply with local and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by organizing tools and adhering to OSHA safety protocols.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on power tools and electrical equipment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation are mandatory.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read a tape measure accurately.
- Willingness to obtain required certifications or licenses upon hiring.
