Responsibilities
- Assist with site preparation, including excavation, grading, and leveling.
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment from trucks.
- Operate basic construction machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Clean and maintain the job site to ensure a safe and organized environment.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to prevent accidents.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various tasks.
- Perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting and carrying heavy objects.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous construction experience is a plus but not required (we train the right candidates).
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting 50+ lbs repeatedly.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
- Basic understanding of construction tools and processes.
