Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and stack building materials, tools, and equipment at job sites.
- Assist skilled tradespeople, such as carpenters and electricians, with various tasks.
- Perform general cleanup of work areas, including removal of debris and trash.
- Operate basic construction tools and power equipment safely and correctly.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and site-specific protocols.
- Measure, cut, and prepare materials for installation as directed.
- Help in the preparation of job sites, including excavation and leveling.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy items.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety standards is preferred.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to read and follow basic instructions and blueprints.
