Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and prepare construction materials, tools, and equipment for the job site.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with various tasks as needed.
- Operate basic construction equipment and power tools safely and correctly.
- Perform site cleanup, including removing debris, trash, and hazardous materials.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
- Measure, cut, and handle materials according to blueprints and foreman instructions.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred; trade school experience is a plus.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation to the job site.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Experience in general construction, landscaping, or warehouse labor is highly valued.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, rain, etc.).
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
