Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate heavy machinery safely (excavators, forklifts, etc.) with proper certifications
- Assist skilled tradesmen with concrete pouring, framing, and finishing work
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and project timelines
- Perform quality checks and report structural issues to site supervisors
- Manage inventory and coordinate material deliveries to workflow requirements
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction labor experience with night shift preference
- Valid OSHA 10/30 certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Commercial driver's license (Class B) or CDL permit
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of blueprint reading and construction terminology
- Reliable transportation to job sites across the Triangle region
