Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation, excavation, and material handling operations with precision
- Operate heavy machinery including excavators, forklifts, and concrete pumps (with proper certification)
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and project specifications
- Assist carpenters, masons, and welders with material staging and task coordination
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and complete daily equipment inspections
- Participate in emergency response procedures and weather-related project adjustments
- Collaborate with supervisors to optimize workflow and meet tight deadlines
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on construction labor experience
- Valid O-10 or Class A commercial driver's license preferred
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification required
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks in all weather conditions
- Proficiency with hand/power tools and construction equipment
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and incident prevention
- Flexibility to work rotating night shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
