Responsibilities
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks.
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various tasks, including carpentry, masonry, and concrete pouring.
- Operate heavy machinery and equipment, including forklifts, skid steers, and excavators (training provided).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Follow blueprints and project instructions to ensure accurate construction processes.
- Perform basic site preparation, including digging, leveling, and debris removal.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to the site supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License required.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous construction experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Basic math skills for reading measurements and blueprints.
- Commitment to wearing all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
