Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with daily construction tasks, including loading, unloading, and distributing materials.
- Prepare job sites by cleaning debris, digging trenches, and setting up scaffolding.
- Operate basic construction tools and equipment (e.g., forklifts, jackhammers, compressors) safely.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and site-specific safety protocols to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to 5S principles.
- Perform basic measurements and marking as directed by foremen or supervisors.
- Communicate effectively with team members and report any safety concerns or equipment malfunctions immediately.
Qualifications
- Physically fit and able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly; capable of standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts and weekends as required by project schedules.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation to the job site.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety practices is a plus, but we provide training.
- Must be detail-oriented and possess a strong work ethic.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
