Role Overview
As a Weekend Electrician, you will be responsible for ensuring the electrical integrity of our client facilities. You will work closely with our dispatch team to complete projects efficiently and safely during off-peak hours.
Responsibilities
- Perform new construction wiring, panel upgrades, and troubleshooting for commercial and residential clients.
- Ensure all work complies with local Chicago building codes and National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Maintain a clean and safe job site, adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults and power outages with minimal downtime.
- Interact professionally with clients and property managers, providing clear status updates.
- Utilize job management software to document hours and materials used.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License for the state of Illinois.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic.
