Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and stack building materials, tools, and equipment on and off trucks, skids, and pallets.
- Site Preparation: Clean and prepare job sites, including digging trenches, filling holes, and removing debris.
- Assistance: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, ironworkers) with various tasks as directed.
- Equipment Support: Operate heavy machinery such as forklifts, scissor lifts, and skid steers (if certified).
- Quality Control: Ensure all work meets project specifications and quality standards.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and site-specific safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous construction experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time night shifts (3:00 PM - 12:00 AM).
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Communication: Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Tools: Basic knowledge of hand and power tools is preferred.
