Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Learn to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics under supervision.
- Perform basic wiring tasks, including stripping, bending, and terminating conductors.
- Set up and operate power tools and electrical testing equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site in compliance with OSHA safety regulations.
- Transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites as required.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding project status.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred but not strictly required.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating electrical loads.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Must be willing to work in various weather conditions and outdoor environments.
- Strong desire to learn and a positive attitude toward teamwork.
