Responsibilities
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks and job sites.
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various on-site tasks as directed by the Site Supervisor.
- Operate basic construction machinery, including forklifts and skid steers (certification preferred but not always required).
- Perform site preparation, including digging, leveling, trenching, and clearing debris.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in strict compliance with OSHA safety regulations.
- Perform routine inspections of tools and equipment to ensure functionality and report issues.
- Follow all company policies and safety procedures while working.
Qualifications
- Ability to work flexible night shift hours (typically 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM).
- Physical stamina to perform heavy manual labor in all weather conditions.
- Must be able to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety protocols and OSHA guidelines is preferred.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.
