Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair leaks, clogs, and malfunctions in residential and commercial plumbing systems.
- Install, maintain, and replace pipes, fixtures, and water heaters.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical schematics to plan projects.
- Perform routine inspections to ensure all systems comply with local building codes.
- Estimate material costs and prepare detailed work orders for clients.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work vehicle and toolbelt.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding job progress and pricing.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques.
- Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and work in tight/confined spaces.
- Basic math skills for measuring lengths and calculating material quantities.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Basic mechanical aptitude is a plus.
