Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials to and from the job site.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various on-site duties to ensure project progress.
- Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site in adherence to all OSHA regulations.
- Follow blueprints and verbal instructions provided by supervisors to ensure quality standards are met.
- Perform minor site preparation tasks such as digging, trenching, or leveling.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately to the site supervisor.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred, but experience is valued more.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Previous construction or landscaping experience is a plus but not required for enthusiastic applicants.
- Ability to work night shifts (typically 5:00 PM - 3:00 AM) with reliable attendance.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the job site.
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions and on various job sites.
