Responsibilities
- Load and unload building materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks and place them in designated storage areas.
- Perform general site cleanup, debris removal, and maintenance of work areas.
- Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various tasks as required.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe job site.
- Transport materials across the job site using wheelbarrows, dollies, or forklifts (as applicable).
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical labor for long hours, including lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety equipment is a plus.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 5:00 PM to 3:00 AM).
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
