Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman electricians with residential and commercial wiring installations and repairs.
- Read and interpret basic electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks, including testing circuits and replacing fixtures.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety regulations.
- Handle and maintain electrical tools and equipment responsibly and safely.
- Transport materials and supplies to job sites as directed.
- Document work completed accurately in daily logs.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are mandatory.
- Basic math skills for measurements, reading rulers, and calculating wire lengths.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions (heat, rain).
- Willingness to learn and follow strict safety protocols and codes.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a team-oriented attitude.
