Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians: Learn to perform residential and commercial electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance under supervision.
- Read Blueprints: Study and interpret electrical plans and schematics to understand project requirements.
- Conduit Bending: Assist in measuring, cutting, and bending electrical conduit using hand and power tools.
- Wire Installation: Help pull and terminate wire, install outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety standards and site-specific safety protocols at all times.
- Site Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Qualifications
- Willingness to Learn: No prior experience necessary; we are looking for a strong desire to learn the trade.
- High School Diploma: High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions (heat/cold).
- Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license is required for site travel.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with basic measurements and fractions.
- Communication: Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with the team.
