We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our night shift team in Mesa, Texas. What You Will Do:
As a Laborer, you will play a crucial role in the daily operations of our construction sites. You will work closely with skilled tradespeople to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Perform site clearing, excavation, and leveling to prepare the area for construction activities.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and distribute construction materials, tools, and equipment using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual labor.
- Assembly Support: Assist in the assembly of structural components, including framing, drywall hanging, and basic carpentry tasks under supervision.
- Demolition: Safely dismantle structures and remove debris, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
- Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to all OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
- Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain basic construction tools and machinery as trained.
- Quality Control: Assist in the inspection of work to ensure it meets project specifications.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in construction or general labor is preferred; however, we are willing to train motivated candidates.
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (typically 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM) including weekends and holidays.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Driver’s License: Valid state-issued driver's license required.
- Communication: Strong ability to follow verbal and written instructions and communicate effectively with team members.
- Tools: Basic familiarity with hand tools is a plus.
