Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, laying groundwork, and ensuring a safe working environment.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and distribute construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.
- Machinery Operation: Operate heavy machinery and tools safely under the guidance of foremen or supervisors.
- Blueprint Adherence: Interpret basic blueprints, diagrams, and schematics to understand project requirements.
- Assistance: Provide hands-on support to skilled tradespeople, including carpenters, electricians, and plumbers.
- Cleanup: Maintain a clean and organized job site at the end of each shift.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in construction labor or general labor preferred.
- Availability: Must be available to work Night Shifts (e.g., 5:00 PM to 3:00 AM).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) and standing.
- License: Valid Texas Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
