Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and stack building materials, tools, and equipment at job sites safely and efficiently.
- Site Preparation: Prepare work areas by cleaning, digging, or setting up scaffolding and barricades.
- Assistance: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with various tasks as directed.
- Equipment Operation: Operate heavy machinery and power tools, including forklifts, jackhammers, and saws, following all safety protocols.
- Cleanup: Maintain a clean and organized job site, removing debris and waste at the end of the shift.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment for everyone.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work in various weather conditions.
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (typically 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM).
- Reliability: A strong work ethic and punctuality are essential.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license is preferred.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent is a plus but not mandatory.
