Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various tasks as directed.
- Perform general site maintenance, including cleaning debris, digging trenches, and preparing work areas.
- Operate heavy machinery and power tools safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and job site instructions.
- Handle physical labor including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to work the night shift (7:00 PM - 6:00 AM) consistently.
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual labor, including heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety practices is a plus but not required.
- Must be willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work well within a team structure.
