Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, excavating, and leveling the ground.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and stack construction materials, tools, and equipment safely.
- Assistance: Support skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with daily tasks and installations.
- Tool Operation: Operate heavy machinery and hand tools (drills, saws, levels) under supervision.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols at all times.
- Cleanup: Maintain a clean and organized work site at the end of each shift.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Reliability: A strong work ethic and the ability to show up on time every day.
- Communication: Basic verbal communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience: Prior construction experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidates.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time hours, including weekends if necessary.
