Responsibilities
- Site Support: Assist carpenters, electricians, and masons by fetching materials, cleaning work areas, and preparing tools for daily tasks.
- Material Handling: Load and unload construction materials from trucks, stack lumber and supplies safely, and distribute items to various work zones.
- General Labor: Perform manual tasks such as digging, mixing concrete, sweeping, and hauling debris to maintain a clean and organized site.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to OSHA safety standards and company protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your teammates.
- Measurements & Prep: Help with basic measurements using tape measures and assist in setting up scaffolding or temporary structures.
- Communication: Relay instructions from foremen to the team and report any safety hazards or equipment issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Entry Level Friendly: No experience required—we are looking for hard workers willing to learn.
- Physical Stamina: Must be able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions (heat, rain, cold).
- Reliability: Must be punctual, consistent, and capable of working well in a team setting.
- Tool Readiness: Willingness to learn how to operate basic hand and power tools.
- Basic Math Skills: Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic calculations for measurements.
- Communication Skills: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions clearly.
