Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with construction tasks (demolition, material handling, site prep)
- Operate basic hand/power tools under supervision (saws, drills, jackhammers)
- Maintain clean and organized job sites per safety protocols
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Follow blueprints and verbal instructions from site supervisors
- Participate in daily safety briefings and hazard prevention
- Complete daily timecards and project documentation as required
Qualifications
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and perform physical labor
- Valid driver's license with clean record (for equipment transport)
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Portland metro
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions (rain, heat, cold)
- Basic understanding of construction site safety standards
- Positive attitude and commitment to teamwork
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
