Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with material handling, loading/unloading, and site preparation
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting, carrying materials (up to 50 lbs), and operating hand tools
- Maintain clean, organized job sites by removing debris and hazardous materials
- Follow strict safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE at all times
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and instructions
- Operate light equipment like jackhammers, saws, and compactors under supervision
- Assist with concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks as needed
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required – we provide comprehensive training
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for 8+ hours daily
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Willingness to work in outdoor conditions (heat, rain, dust)
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with daily attendance
- Team player with clear communication skills
