Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and distribute construction materials (wood, concrete, bricks) to designated areas using hand trucks or forklifts.
- Machinery Operation: Operate basic construction machinery and power tools under the supervision of certified operators.
- Task Assistance: Support skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians) with various tasks to ensure project timelines are met.
- Cleanup & Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe job site by removing trash and ensuring tools are stored correctly.
- Quality Control: Assist in basic measurements and inspections to ensure work meets quality standards.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: We welcome applicants with zero prior construction experience.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform heavy physical labor for extended periods, including lifting 50+ lbs and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Reliability: Must have a reliable means of transportation and be available for overtime and weekend shifts when necessary.
- Attention to Detail: Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions precisely.
