Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various construction tasks including site preparation, material handling, and equipment operation
- Perform physical labor such as digging, lifting, carrying materials, and operating hand/power tools
- Maintain a clean and safe work area by removing debris and following OSHA guidelines
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and instructions from supervisors
- Participate in both residential and commercial construction projects across the Raleigh area
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and report any hazards immediately
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required – full training provided
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with a team-oriented mindset
- Basic math skills for measuring and material calculations
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
