Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with material handling and site preparation
- Operate basic hand tools (hammers, shovels, levels) and power equipment under supervision
- Maintain clean and organized job sites by removing debris and waste
- Follow strict safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times
- Read basic blueprints and verbal instructions from site supervisors
- Assist with concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks as assigned
- Transport materials and equipment using carts, dollies, or forklifts (certification provided)
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years old with valid photo ID
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- Willingness to work in outdoor conditions (heat, rain, etc.)
- Strong work ethic and punctuality are essential
- No prior construction experience necessary – we train!
- Basic English communication skills for safety instructions
- Reliable transportation to job sites in Houston area
