Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and skilled trades with material handling and site preparation
- Operate basic hand tools (hammers, saws, shovels) and power equipment under supervision
- Perform site cleanup, debris removal, and waste management
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain organized work areas
- Assist with concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks as trained
- Participate in daily toolbox meetings and safety briefings
- Transport materials and equipment to job sites safely
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred (not required)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measuring and material calculations
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Richmond metro area
- No prior experience needed - training provided
