Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various construction tasks, including carpentry, drywall, and painting.
- Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment at job sites.
- Perform site cleanup, including removal of debris, trash, and hazardous materials.
- Operate basic construction equipment, such as forklifts, scissor lifts, and power washers, following all safety protocols.
- Ensure strict adherence to all safety regulations and OSHA guidelines to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Measure and cut materials to required specifications using hand and power tools.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure project milestones are met.
Qualifications
- Must be physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly and standing for extended periods.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and environments.
- Basic reading and math skills are required for measuring and following instructions.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude are essential.
- Ability to work as part of a collaborative team and follow directions.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from job sites.
