Responsibilities
- Perform general labor tasks including loading, unloading, and transporting materials to and from the job site.
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various construction activities such as framing, drywalling, masonry, and site cleanup.
- Operate construction equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to ensure a secure work environment.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site, including debris removal and waste management.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and job site instructions when necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred; trade school experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Physically fit and capable of working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (required for site transport).
- Basic understanding of construction safety procedures.
- Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are mandatory.
