Responsibilities
- Load and unload materials from delivery trucks and organize site storage areas efficiently.
- Assist skilled tradespeople, including carpenters and electricians, with daily tasks.
- Operate basic construction equipment and tools safely in accordance with OSHA standards.
- Perform site cleanup, debris removal, and general maintenance to ensure a safe work environment.
- Measure, cut, and prepare building materials as directed by the foreman.
- Follow all project instructions and safety protocols strictly.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from job sites.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting 50+ lbs repeatedly and standing for long durations.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic understanding of construction safety regulations (OSHA) is a plus.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work well in a team setting.
