Responsibilities
- Assist with Site Preparation: Load, unload, and stack building materials, tools, and equipment on job sites.
- Operate Basic Tools: Utilize hand tools and power tools under the guidance of senior crew members.
- Site Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe by removing debris and hazards.
- Follow Safety Protocols: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety guidelines and company safety policies at all times.
- Support Trades: Assist carpenters, electricians, and plumbers with various tasks as directed.
- Material Handling: Measure, cut, and transport materials to specific work locations efficiently.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: We welcome applicants with zero prior construction experience who are willing to learn.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform heavy manual labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly, standing for long periods, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Attention to Safety: A strong commitment to following safety rules and wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate well with supervisors and co-workers.
- Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and able to maintain a consistent work schedule.
- Basic Math Skills: Ability to perform basic measurements and counts accurately.
